Still Waiting

China is still moving at a snail's pace with referrals. We've been waiting over 2 years for a referral, and at the current rate, we have almost 3 more years to wait. It's truly outrageous how slow they move. Of course, they have to save face and say how efficient they are and how fast they move. When we adopted Sarah, referrals were coming out 6 months after LID. Now, they're projecting 5 years.

That's efficient?

No, but they could never admit to being slower, regardless of the reason. "If the wood is rotting, paint it. It may not make the house more sound, but at least no one will know the wood is rotten and we won't be embarassed."

Things happen at the right time and for a reason. Gotta keep telling myself that.
